Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital

The nurses and doctors in the Surgical ICU are the best, they all are very attentive to the needs and the care o0f their patients. My daughter had surgery 12/07/23 and they were absolutely great and then her birthday was on the 12/08/23. They made her feel so much love they sung Happ Birthday to he and made her feel right at home I can't say enough about this group of nurses and doctors except they are the best hands down. Thank you for the care, and love you showed my daughter and my family during our stay. We love all of you and truly appreciate evrything you did for her.

The hospital staff was amazing. The only thing that I didn't like is on all my appointments leading up to my surgery, I was never told that I would be released the same day. In fact, it was in my instructions that I would stay and be released the next day as when I got my knee surgery two years ago. I just feel that it should be made clear, before you book a hotel for the person who is driving you, because you have to cancel the hotel in advance and not the same day. Every hotel is not understanding and you will lose your money. This is very unprofessional. An when you have a surgery as of this, you should be kept overnight for pain control and if there are any complications. That night I was in so much pain and couldn't do anything about it, tell the next day. It's not like my insurance wouldn't have covered it. But, other than that, the surgery went great. Dr. Hansen did a wonderful job as last time and the Anesthesiologist did a great job. Everyone there was very nice, friendly and make you feel like they care about you.

I was treated with respect the whole time I was there. I will always choose this hospital over any other. The ER check in was courteous. I received the best care from ALL staff from the ER to the Cardiologist area to the kitchen to the janitorial staff. I mean everyone was so pleasant. I and my family want to thank you all for your kindness and respect. God Bless. The Williams Family

It was refreshing to meet people who Actually Enjoy what they do for a living. I was admitted from the ER and spent 3 days in the hospital. Pretty much all of the hospital employees I met from housekeeping to cafeteria to nursing and specialty had great attitudes, were very informative and patient with my questions. Again, such a pleasure to be around folks who enjoy their occupation and it shows. This wasn’t the first time I’d been to Seton Williamson and my impression is the same as my last visit, I just didn’t leave a detailed review.

Our nurse that prepped us for our procedure was just the nicest friendliest nurse. Very professional and had a great sense of humor. The other nurse in the room my procedure was done was very observant and helpful. I don’t know her name but she was new and had come from Washington State. She saw my needs and helped me when the male nurse didn’t. Thanks for having great nurses.

From the time I checked in at 5:15 AM last Friday until today four days post-op I have had amazing care. I have experienced nothing but professionalism, kindness, understanding, and patience, and it is all is extremely heartfelt and has made this a wonderful experience to date! Doctor Hanson and his staff, the hospital nursing staff, anesthesiology department, clerical admissions, post operative check ins, from all the departments has been an amazing experience. I’ve had nearly 2 dozen medical surgical procedures and by far this has been the best experience hands down.
